Principle of PSA oxygen generator
PSA oxygen generator takes 5A zeolite molecular sieve as  adsorbent.The crystal of 5A zoelite molecular sieve is in a cage structure,with well-developed bug holes.There are powerful positive ions and oxygen anions in the bug holes,which make up a molecular sieve with strong polatity, but oxygen and nitrogen are non-polar molecules.When oxygen and nitrogen pass through  5A polar molecular sieve,oxygen and nitrogen produce inductive dipole under the effect of polar molecules;an induction force is production force produced by nitrogen which is easy to be  polarized is far more than that of oxygen.Then nitrogen is  adsorbed preferentially by 5A zeolite molecular sieve and  enriched in thesolid phase of the  molecules sieve,while oxygen is enriched in the ono-solid phase.This is resultant oxygen. 
Meanwhile 5A molecular sieve is so featured that the volume of nitrogen adsorbed increases when compressed and decreases when  decompressed. .Therefore,nitrogen can be adsorbed by compressing 5A zoelite molecular sieve and desorbed form the sieve by decompressing it. In this way, oxygen can be produced.

Principle of PSA
When any adsorbent adsorbs the same gas when absorption remains stable,the  higher pressure,the larger adsorbing capacity; otherwise , the lower pressure , the  smaller  adsorbing capacity. See the following figure.
As above mentioned , 5A molecular sieve adsorbs a lot of nitrogen , carbon dioxide and  moisture when theair pressure rises. When the pressure fall to normal , such adsorptionis very small.


The process of PSA Oxygen Generator
Compressed and purified air flows through an adsorbed vessel which is filled with carbon molecular sieve (CMS).When passing the adsorbed vessel from the bottom to the top, nitrogen molecules are adsorbed on the surface of the CMS and oxygen enriched gas leaves the adsorbed vessel, this product gas is led into a buffer tank.
 After a certain time the CMS in adsorbed vessel is saturated with nitrogen and needs to be regenerated. For regeneration the adsorption cycle is stopped and the pressure in the adsorbed vessel is released. To guarantee a continuous oxygen supply, a second adsorbed vessel is utilized. Whilst one adsorbed is in regeneration or so-called adsorption mode, the second vessel is in adsorption mode. Since adsorption and adsorption are achieved by alternating pressures in the adsorbed vessels, this process is called pressure swing adsorption (PSA).

Main Characteristics of Equipment
For program control valve and guide valve, select German BURKERT or GEMU product; successive start number of times of valves free of trouble is over one million.
German SIEMENS or Japan Omron or Mitsubishi PLC system, fully automatic control of the oxygen generator, which requires no operating staff.
For adsorbent, select USA 5A UOP CMS carbo molecule sieve.      
The adsorb vessels are filled with HJL utilizing a special filling method which guarantees the highest possible bulk density. With this so-called snow-storm-filling, a refilling of CMS is not necessary.
